![]() But it would be a much better and supportive environment to work in that's for sure as they're all enthusiasts. I dunno, just had the urge to recommend this to you. They're building node systems now for us. Maybe your skill and knowledge could further their aims. Ethically minded coding team there as well and they take that part seriously. They're really doing some work on that team, bar none the best UI experience I've seen and constantly hard at work innovating. All powered under the hood with SD for imagen. All the goods that our art apps bring us. Ideally what I think would be next level for future use would be a brush engine, blending brushes, layers et al. ![]() One day I can see it being very advanced and what would go a long way to that advancement perhaps is someone with an understanding of digital art apps like Krita. The GUI they're building on the front end of SD is really something else. I'm having the intuition here to tell you to contact the devs of InvokeAI. ![]() But instead of engaging in discussion, to perhaps help them understand that it’s not really any different than a person seeing their art and copying their style, he threatened, demanded, and shut them out of discussion as if he’s on some weird power trip, only he has no power. It simply saw the image, like a person could have. The problem I think is these artists don’t seem to understand that the model doesn’t have those images in it. if your stuff is available for public viewing in the internet, I don’t think that breaks ethics. It’s just an anti unethical dataset opinion, so to me it just seems a matter of figuring out why they think it’s unethical. And apparently it’s not even an Anti-AI opinion. OP is a bit batshit crazy thinking the devs owe him anything just because they have an opinion. I agree with the last comment in that locked thread. Why do devs have to promise to add AI features to the main code? Even if they did want to, if the plug-in is good enough, they wouldn’t necessarily have a need to. The great thing about open source is, if the devs don’t want to make something, you can! They don’t want AI? You can add it! Just like OP did. Why branch/fork? Nobody is saying he can’t make a plug-in. It's definitely something new, that starts with random noise, and diffuses. With the new data, my weights and balances have shifted tremendously. I did not add any other images, like works of art. It won't make the same images that the original model makes with the same seed and settings. You can only copyright your original works.ĪI generations are not those original works, or derivatives (unless you img2img or inpaint/outpaint over an original work) If artists think they can copyright those 5 adjacent blue pixels, and that one green one, because that was "their contribution" to the image ai made, then fuck them. And it does create something new (ai calculates the result pixel colors, not an artist) Understanding how to remove noise from images is not illegal. People don't understand that generations start with random noise, not works of art (unless you img2img or inpaint/outpaint over an original work)
